Although we hold all kinds of singles events ranging from theme parties, singles mixers, and live performances, we specialize in providing a quality speed dating experience where you WILL meet other singles who are looking for their match.
Our speed date events are focused on allowing all of our guests the uninterrupted chance to interact with one another. A typical speed date event consists of a singles mixer before the event. This mixer includes games, free drinks, and an outgoing host who knows how to get the party started!
The speed date event itself gives each person a six minute, one-on-one date with every other single. This is facilitated by our host and is made comfortable, easy, and fun. Following our event, we hold a closing mixer where you can meet up with your other friends or get to know your matches better.
It's simple, safe...and it's a lot of fun! Our consistent feedback from our guests is...."when are you guys doing this again?"
Speed Date Philadelphia prides itself on keeping your information COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL. Your contact information will NOT be given to any other guest unless you choose them as a "match" online, after the event.

Who started this company?
Speed Date Philadelphia was started by singles living in Philadelphia. We were tired of the same old scenes leading to the same disappointing results.
Our Executive staff are from Philadelphia. We were raised in Philadelphia, and we know what singles in Philadelphia want when they meet new people. Our company is committed to providing the best possible experience to singles who are serious about dating at the lowest prices possible.
All of our events are hosted in Philadelphia's most upscale venues including lounges, cafes and restaurants. We target a goal-oriented, career-focused clientele who prefer a sophisticated, efficient, and fun way to meet like-minded singles in Philly's trendy, upscale, and exclusive venues!
How long has speed dating been around?
Speed Dating was originally started by a Rabbi as a way for young Jewish Singles to meet. Very quickly, Speed Dating grew into a popular form of entertainment & dating for singles throughout the world. People finally found a way to get out and participate in fun activities with other singles! It has since taken over in New York, L.A. and now....we've brought it to Philly.
How does Speed Dating work?
Speed Dating is a chance to meet and socialize with a number of singles face-to-face, in a`comfortable for a series of short one-on-one dates. All of our guests register online at SpeedDatePhilly.com (or) SpeedDatePhiladelphia.com.
It is completely discreet; there are NO pictures to post, NO tedious profiles to build, and NO random pairing. You simply register in advance for an event of your choosing and show up for a fun, entertaining evening where you can relax and meet others just like you....remember they've signed up for the same event you have.
At the end of the event, all of our guests are placed on a list online by their FIRST NAME and LAST INITIAL only! Our registered guests then have the chance to choose who they matched best with. IF and ONLY IF two people choose one another, Speed Date Philadelphia will send both parties an e-mail with the e-mail address of their match.
In case the event is sold out (don't wait until the last minute to register!),as there are a limited number of seats, join the waiting list and/or sign up for the newsletter to stay updated on Speed Date Philadelphia events.
